Print

Overview of Consultation: Transforming Learning in Walsall is a major programme being developed to provide children and young people with the best possible opportunities for educational achievement and make growing up in Walsall as good as it can be for young people in the borough. This includes our involvement in the Building Schools for the Future Programme (BSF) to transform secondary schools and deliver our strategy for secondary education provision, the Primary Capital Programme (PCP) to transform primary schools and deliver the strategy for primary education provision and the Academies development programme. The programme will involve a number of communication and consultation activities throughout the life of the programme to ensure that stakeholders are involved in the development of this transformation. It will involve children and young people, parents, teachers, governors, local residents and specialist professionals. The young voice part of the consultation will seek the views of children
