Parental Views - Transition (Serco)

Overview of Consultation:	Parental engagement in shaping and developing services relating to transition is critical in ensuring that the services reflect their needs and meeting the requirements of the National Transition Strategy which forms part of Aiming High for Disabled Children.

How is this consultation being carried out?	We will attend Parent/Carer forum, present on various issues e.g transition protocol, information during transition, partnership working, post 16 opportuntities etc. Using a mixture of presentation and table work we will gain parental views and at the subsequent Parent/Carer forum provide feedback on progress towards outcomes identified to improve the service.
